At Cambrils Park Resort we work to make every corner of the resort more efficient and environmentally friendly. From the technical installations to the day-to-day work of our team, energy efficiency is a priority.
More than 98% of our lighting is LED or energy-efficient, and our equipment moves around the venue with zero-emission electric vehicles that are recharged with solar energy. In addition, we precisely control gas, water and electricity consumption with intelligent energy management systems.
We have also renewed more than 300 air conditioners in our Villas Bonita and La Mediterrània apartments for more efficient models, and we limit the temperature between 19 °C and 27 °C to ensure sustainable thermal comfort.

At Cambrils Park Resort we continue our commitment to a more environmentally friendly tourism, and this year we have taken a big step forward with the installation of a new ultra-filtration unit in our water purification plant.
Thanks to this improvement, valued at almost €200,000, we now recycle water from sinks, showers and from cleaning the filters of our swimming pools, giving it a new life for uses such as irrigation, the fire system and the supply of two thirds of our accommodations.
An action that will allow us to save more than 55,000 m³ of water per year and that reinforces our commitment to a more sustainable future for all.
We are committed to a responsible tourism model that thinks about the future without losing sight of the present. We apply the 7 Rs circular economy principles (redesign, reduce, reuse, repair, renew, recover and recycle) at all levels of our activity.
We have 10 selective waste collection points distributed throughout the resort and we provide each family with an ecological cleaning kit to encourage responsible consumption from day one.
Internally, we recycle each type of waste generated in a specialised way, repair what still has a useful life and, when this is no longer possible, we give it a new use. In addition, the furniture replaced in our renovations is donated to charities or our team, extending its lifespan and positive impact.

In addition, we deliver an ecological cleaning kit to each family along with materials that invite them to adopt more responsible habits from the first moment.
Our team is also part of the change. We collaborate with specialised companies to treat each waste correctly and we have reduced the use of single-use plastics to a minimum, committing to more sustainable alternatives.

We live with more than 70 plant species and at least 17 types of birds that find a natural and balanced habitat in our environment. Taking care of this small ecosystem is part of our daily commitment.
For this reason, we use biological agents for pest control and have incorporated natural solutions such as diatomaceous earth, an ecological insecticide of plant origin. We also reuse pruning waste as mulch, which protects and nourishes the soil naturally.
Our green areas are landscaped with native species with low water consumption, which are more resistant and adapted to the environment. In addition, the team receives specialised training in biological pest management, guaranteeing respectful and sustainable maintenance.

Thanks to the agreement signed with Caritas, we deliver unmanipulated food from our supermarkets, as well as toys, clothes and other items in good condition that many families leave behind before leaving. What for some has served its purpose, for others may mean a new opportunity.
Among palm trees and gardens, cats have also found their home at Cambrils Park Resort. With love and respect, we take care of a feline colony that is part of the resort's day-to-day life: we feed them, ensure their health and control their growth with sterilization campaigns for more than a decade.
